Welcome to the Lair of Morbidman! Created by John Cosper and Susan Donen*, Morbidman and his assorted friends and foes have become the most popular characters in Righteous Insanity's catalog. Each play is nnot only filled with relevant Christian themes, but audience interactive, with heroes and villains alike carrying the action and comedy into the audience. The adventures began with Morbidman Meets His Maker, when heroes and villains discovered they were created by the two playwrights - and those playwrights had a purpose for their lives. Morbidman Returns takes the heroes on a path for redemption after they stray to the dark side and become villains. In Morbidman Forever a charismatic character known as "The Mullet" inspires everyone in townto take up a new hairstyle, but his rise to power quickly becomes a lesson in following the crowd. Morbidman Begins is an origin tale that delves into the issues of regret, letting go of the past, and dealing with the consequences of our actions. The series concludes (for now) with Morbidman and Robin when the heroes and villains kidnap one of their Creators and attempt to live in a world without rules. If you can't get enough Morbidman, there are one act plays and skits available on this site. And there's also A Very Morbid Christmas a great one act play for the holiday season. The Morbidman plays can be performed in sequence, or as stand alone pieces.
