Clive the Zombie Clive Lewis Staples on September 1, 1975 in Sussex. Despite the urgings of his parents who dreamed he would become a clergyman in the Church if England, Clive chose to follow his own dream: to become a professional footballer. Clive excelled at the game, but his career was cut tragically short when he was bitten by a zombie that ran onto the pitch during a club match. Clive soon rose from the dead, and he believed his resurrection to be a second chance. He recalled the story of Jonah from his childhood, and he began to seek enrollment at seminaries across Britain and the United States. It was during a visit to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville that Clive met John Cosper of Righteous Insanity. Their mutual passion for serving the Lord and for the old Hammer horror films led them to realize this was more than a chance meeting. Thus, Clive came to work for Righteous Insanity as a member of its resident puppet troupe. Clive is not only a brilliant performer and a natural on camera, but a true scholar and an avid reader with a passion for tapping into history's greatest religious minds. He also enjoys minds baked, fried, broiled, poached, grilled, steamed, boiled, and raw with a dab of Frank's hot sauce on a Ritz cracker.
