Q: Is this based on a true story?

A: No. Adam Krieger is a fictional character. The story, and the "note" posted on this website, are works of fiction.

 

Q: Is the Blink 182 song "Adam's Song" based on Adam Krieger?

A: No. "Adam's Song" pre-dates the writing of this play by a few years. Adam Krieger is a fictional character. I as unaware of Blink 182 or their song at the time I wrote this play. So there is NO connection with the song whatsoever. It's just a coincidence that led to a web-spawned urban legend.

 

Q: Is there any fee for producing this play?

A: There is no fee to produce "Adam's Letter," "Adam's Legacy," or "The Waiting Room." They are free to print and to produce.

 

Q: May we produce a film version of the play?

A: Yes, but please email john@righteousinsanity.com for permission before doing so.

 

Q: May we update the language in the play?

A: Feel free! The Waiting Room was revised in January of 2011, but the other two plays are several years old now. The language and pop culture references could use some updating, so please feel free.
